9:36 am	Yet another day Well it has been 3 week since I have been able to get out of the house. Scott, room mate, took my car to San Diego and left it there, brought back his van...with trans problems...now both are in San Diego, mine just sitting, his in the shop for a new trans. Mental note, never let him borrow the car again!!!! So, will be back in San Diego next week. My car goes in the shop for a injector problem and then I am off to Palm Springs. Not before I list my car on e-bay though. It's time. I bought the car a year ago with 38K miles on it and it now has 70K. How fast those miles go by! Getting ready to head to Chicago in a week or two as well. Really don't want to be around for my birthday! (Comment on this)

8:58 am	Been a while Back from Chicago from the family reunion and celebration for Sr. Karen. She has been in the convent for 50 years. Was great seeing the family again. I have not been back in a couple of years. Unfortunatly, there was a down side to the trip. Karen, Jim, and I had gone to southern Illinois to visit Aunt Frieda. She had fallen 3 weeks before and hit her head. She had been in a coma and when we arrived in Chicago we learned that she had passed. All in all though, good to be home. (Comment on this)

5:12 pm	Movies movies movies Went to see the Lake House last night with friend Andy. Had me at the edge of my seat trying to figure out how they were going to do this movie. Good story line, always liked the two leading characters together. Wondered why they never got together romantically in real life! Twists and turns in the plot. Wonder how the book reads? 5:21 pm	Okay, really been bad about this Let's see, where have I been???? Hell, just ask where haven't I been! Went to see Karen and Jim in New Mexico then to San Diego for a few days, Palm Springs for a couple then back to New Mexico. Left there on Sunday and a little side trip to Palm Springs again and now I am out in Pahrump. Will be here until Monday and then back to Palm Springs then to San Diego for the rest of the week. Will be at the dentist on Monday, June 19th. Time flies when you are having fun! Family reunion coming up. Second weekend in July....the 8th. Karen, Jim and I are driving out. At least that is the plan for now. Movies seen in the last month..... Da Vinci Code Poseiden X Men - The Last Stand Rumour Has It Last Holiday Memoirs of a Gasha Fun with Dick and Jane Waiting for the Lake House to start on June 16th. (Comment on this)

11:05 am	Still unpacking Still unpacking from the move. Of course, catching the flu the DAY of the move didn't help much. Scott is still in San Diego working on that house. Seems like that will never end. Will be driving to Palm Springs tomorrow and spending the night there and then to San Diego. Scott wants me to drive back and forth for the next few days to bring "stuff" to Pahrump that did not go on the truck. Hell, it's his money and van...who cares right? I have an interview with a head hunter on Monday morning. We'll see what happens there. Have to get some dress clothes out. 8:56 pm	Busy day and Kenny on Vacation Working around the house, doing laundry, dropping off the rental, picking up Andy's car from Bob Baker Ford, washing the cars. Does it ever end. Where is the nap I usually take. Oh that's right, NO TIME FOR IT TODAY!!!! Finally got home and talked to Kevin from San Francisco...poor guy just got laid off, x is giving him fits, car trouble. At least he is getting some time off for him! Kenny is in the Grand Canyon...should be very pretty right now. I wonder if it is snowing or cold there. When I was there last July, the snow had just been there the week before. Sounds like he is having a great trip. (Comment on this)

5:59 pm	Back to reality Went to Palm Springs on Sunday for the art auction friend Larry Parks was having at the Desrt Palms...or is that Dorothy's Other Kansas....no wait, OZZ. They just can't make up there minds. The benefit was for the Desert Aids Project. Larry did pretty well. Sold all but five paintings/art work. Brought the dogs with me. Not much fun for them, but, I had a great time. Went over to the Villa for drinks with Jack. Jack is a little strange, but, his heart is in the right place. Back today. Scott came home from Idaho visiting his niece who is in the Navy. She is stationed in Japan. (Comment on this)

7:24 am	Another peaceful day....or is it Saw friend Andy last night. On our way out the door to go to dinner, I perked up and said...."I'll drive". Harmless you would think. Jumped in the car, turned the key, car started, but, will not come out of park. So, off we went in Andy's car to dinner. I know I spell this wrong all the time....Arivaderche. Excellent dinner as allways. Hillcrest was just a buzz of people last night. Almost all were straight. Damn. What is happening to our little area of town? 1:28 pm	What a pretty day this has turned out to be Working in the yard, running errands, looking for work on line all morning. Talking on the phone and reading useless information on the internet. What else is a guy to do. Friend David in Palm Springs asked me to come out for the festivities this weekend. I have the dogs this weekend. 6:16 pm	After a slow start getting Andy out of his house this morning and trying to find a restaurant that DID NOT have a line out the door, we had breakfast at the Lumberjack. North Park establishment (gay of course) that Andy and I like to go to everyonce in a while....or when everything else is packed. Ya know, I have not been to the Big Kitchen since I moved back. Ahhhh the Whoopie Breakfast is calling my name. Been a pretty quiet (thank god) day. NO Scott, no phone calls, just me the TV, the bed and the internet. Thought about going out tonight. 8:34 pm	Came back from Palm Springs this afternoon. Damn I love it there. Weather was just getting really nice when I left. Spent some time with friends the last couple of days. Is there any way in my life time that I will ever live there? Is this just a dream that I have that will never be a reality? Sent out some resume's today. Will be checking out some sites tomorrow for work. Sunday's are always the best. Will be going to brunch with Andy tomorrow at Crest Cafe. Always his favorite. Used to be a great place for some eye candy, but, the straights and the prices seem to have driven all the hotties away. Where in the hell are they??? :) (Comment on this)

5:36 pm	Friday, at last Does not really mean that much when you are not working I guess, but, at least it is the end of another week and closer to move time. Spoke with Karen today, sister from New Mexico. Told her my frustrations with the constant disorder and incompletion of projects that have already been started. Seems like the move date will not come too soon for me. Although, moving into a house that has the same situation going on does not appeal to me. Especially, when the same room mate that has been doing the work here owns the home out there as well. Expectancy of the projects being completed out there in a timely fashion, like in my lifetime.....nope. So, have taken the next step. I am having my resume redone so I can get out of construction hell and get back to a normal life. What's that you say? Bob is going to seriously look for work! Bob is going to possibly get his stuff out of storage! It can happen Bucko. Stay tuned. (Comment on this)

8:08 pm	I really need to keep up on this stuff... Been packing and remodeling. Computer has just been giving me fits lately. Had to reload the Operating System, which of course, erased everything. Reloaded AOL and my favorites are all gone. Now I am recreating that. What a huge pain! Talked to Sister Karen last night. Everyone is fine. Heard about Diane's husband Ray and his camping trip. Almost lost him! Diane is taking her finals soon. Bet she will be glad they are over. Would be nice to have her life in order again. 8:51 pm	Just heard from Doug....yes, he is feeling better. Putting in some long hours at work. Only home for two days this weekend and off to CT for the week and then Philly again. I don't know how he does it most of the time. That is part of having your own company though. (Comment on this)
8:15 pm	Been packing and cleaning since I got home on Monday. Scott and I are going to the Las Vegas Smoke Out April 5th through the 7th. Then he is off to Idaho to visit his niece that is coming in from Japan. She is on the Kittyhawk and will be in for about 2-3 weeks. We have to be out of this house by April 15th. So, looks like things have to be done by the time Smoke Out happens. This has been an interesting process since there are things from his grandfather. Scott's mom is coming over tomorrow to assist me in going through things. Sounds like a dumpster is in order! Have not heard much from Doug in Ft. Lauderdale. He went to Philly on Monday and is working there. Poor guy was soooooo sick. May still be feeling bad. I did e-mail him tonight. We will see how long it takes for him to answer.
